Tesla Typ 2 Plug (32A) with Charge Port Opener

This type 2 plug is currently the only separately available plug that allows you to open the charge port and unlock the plug of your Tesla with a push of a button. The button works like the Supercharger or the Tesla Wall Connector. A practical everyday helper that every Tesla driver should have.

Application:

• Just pick up the Tesla charging cable, press the button - and the charge port of your Tesla will pop up. The key can remain in your pocket (unauthorized removal is not possible without a key).
• To stop the charging process and unlock the charging plug, all you have to do is pushing the button and you can disconnect the cable.

For this to work, the key (or the mobile phone for the Model 3) must be in the immediate vicinity (for example, in your trouser or purse). The advantage: You do not have to get into the car to open the charge port via display nor search your handbag for your key. Even if you do not have both hands free, you can easily connect your Tesla - everyday comfort in all circumstances.

Note:

This set contains everything to replace a vehicle type 2 connector with a vehicle type 2 connector with Tesla Charge Port Opener. Since the contacts are crimped, a corresponding crimping tool is required. A standard crimping tool is not enough. The assembly may only be carried out by a qualified electrician!
